Three audiences, three messages I split the audience into three groups: young adults aged 18 to 25, veterans and a general group. Each group saw a message written for it.

The brand

PeerHubTX, formerly PeerForce, helps people in Texas become certified peer specialists. A peer has lived experience with mental health or substance use challenges and uses it to help others recover. PeerHubTX offers training, career guidance and job resources.

Why

PeerForce won grant funding to raise awareness of peer support careers in San Antonio. It needed to reach people who might be a good fit and collect their details for follow-up.

How

  1. I split the audience into young adults aged 18 to 25, veterans and a general group, so each message fit the people who saw it.
  2. I planned creatives in two styles: some speak to the reader’s goals, others show the facts about training.
  3. I used a Facebook lead form, so people could share their details without leaving the app.

What I learned

  • Showing scholarships and remote training up front answers the biggest doubts before anyone has to ask.
  • Separate audiences make it easy to see which message each group responds to.
