Hey, I’m Dilosan

I’m a full-stack marketer with a background in finance, psychology, and marketing. I love building systems, diving deep into data, and combining psychology and marketing.

My early career began in finance at KPMG, but I pivoted to marketing after realizing I was most energized by creative problem-solving and driving outcomes.

I made the transition to marketing with Surge Global, starting in performance marketing for B2B and B2C clients—managing multi-channel campaigns, building personas, and driving measurable growth. 

Today, I specialize in digital strategy, paid media and marketing operations for mission-driven non-profits and B2B SaaS Companies. 

As the Head of Marketing at Form Communities, I’ve built and executed integrated campaigns for mental health advocacy, strengthened digital presence and SEO, managed Google Ad Grants, and optimized fundraising and outreach campaigns. I also oversee marketing operations for Adaptive Edge Digital, an agency dedicated to helping non-profits expand their impact through effective marketing.

Observe

Problems speak their own language when you attune yourself to listen. Developing the habit of deep observation changes both the observer and the observed. Insights emerge when you watch systems without immediately trying to change them. The most effective changes often come after patient, deliberate study rather than reactive intervention.

Seek to understand the whole system, not just your part of it. Look beyond the surface of problems to find the underlying patterns and connections. Listen more than you speak, question more than you assert, and learn more than you teach. True expertise comes from repeated cycles of study, application, and reflection.

Acknowledge what you don’t know with confidence and clarity. Be willing to change your mind when presented with better evidence or reasoning. Good ideas can come from anywhere—evaluate them on merit, not source. The most valuable insights often emerge from reconciling contradictory perspectives.

Details matter, but not all details matter equally. Know when to be meticulous and when to move quickly—the right approach depends on the context. Perfection is the enemy of progress, but excellence is always the goal. Focus your energy on the critical few things that create disproportionate value.

Everyone you meet is fighting battles you know nothing about. Seek to understand others’ perspectives before expecting them to understand yours. Remember that competence without compassion creates solutions that work technically but fail humanly. The quality of your relationships determines the quality of your life and work.

Growth happens at the edge of your comfort zone, not safely within it. Seek situations that challenge your assumptions and capabilities. The most valuable learning often feels difficult or uncomfortable in the moment. Distinguish between productive discomfort that leads to growth and needless suffering that doesn’t.

What Fuels My Curiosity

Outside of work, I love connecting with people and ideas in new ways—whether that's through public speaking at Toastmasters, reading a thought-provoking book, or strategizing over a board game. I also find a lot of joy in volunteering my marketing expertise for nonprofits and unwinding with video games or a challenging jigsaw puzzle. These activities keep me curious, creative, and grounded.
